Turkish investment bank Mission Bank has established a partnership with Swiss crypto infrastructure provider Taurus.

Turkish neobank Mission Bank, according to the press release shared today, has established a partnership with Taurus, one of the world’s leading infrastructure providers for storing digital assets.

In this context, Mission Bank will benefit from Taurus’ industry-leading technologies.

At the same time, the Swiss crypto infrastructure provider Taurus, which offers cryptocurrency storage and tokenization services, also works with several major banks including the German Deutsche Bank.

Dr. Önder Halisdemir, CEO of Mission Bank, stated the following in his comments on the subject:

With our vision aiming to turn Turkey into the Switzerland of its region, we have taken an important step for our country and region. With this step, by bringing Turkish assets together with global investors through tokenization, and safely storing the assets of our country and neighboring countries within our borders with our custody banking business model, we will turn Turkey into a regional investment hub. As we move towards our goal, we are structuring our technological infrastructure in collaboration with Taurus, based in Switzerland, and our subsidiary, MissionTech.

Önder Halisdemir also mentioned, “We provide comprehensive solutions for digital assets through local services designed with the contributions of Istanbul Technical University and KPMG. Once our work is completed in our country, these efforts will bring Turkey into a competitive position in the field of asset storage and tokenization and will provide our country with a regional scope of action,”

Lamine Brahimi, co-founder of Taurus, added:

We are very pleased to collaborate with Mission Bank, Turkey’s first Neo-investment bank. We look forward to supporting the bank in launching new digital asset services by utilizing Taurus-PROTECT and Taurus-CAPITAL. With this important step we have taken with the expert team of Mission and MissionTech, we believe that Turkey will become an important player in the region in the field of digital asset storage and tokenization.
