Investment firm Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, recently sold millions of dollars worth of Coinbase (COIN) shares.
Ark Invest, which has frequently made headlines with its previous COIN sales, is back in the news with another sell-off. Following the rise in Coinbase shares, Ark Invest sold approximately 200,000 Coinbase shares worth $52.3 million.
The sales were made through the ARK Innovation ETF, ARK Next Generation Internet ETF, and ARK Fintech Innovation. 133,533 COIN shares were sold from the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), 59,215 shares from the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and 6,778 COIN shares from the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF).
Continuing to balance its investment portfolio in line with the increases, the company had previously made a $100 million COIN sale just last week.
Over the past 13 days, Coinbase shares have risen by 70%, climbing from $114.5 to $193.6. At the time of writing, COIN is trading at $180.
